A Level 2 Physiotherapist part time position with flexible hours for the right person within a thriving and collaborative outpatient service at Macquarie University Health (MUH), Australia’s only University-owned integrated academic health precinct . You will become part of a supportive team of five physiotherapists and Exercise physiologist, working in a large, modern open-plan clinic designed to foster collaboration, professional growth, supervision and CPD included within the role. We have close links to specialist and Macquarie university sports centre and elite athlete program. Our purpose-built facility is equipped with state-of-the-art rehabilitation and exercise equipment, enabling the delivery of contemporary, evidence-based musculoskeletal and spinal pain management.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced clinician who is committed to delivering high-quality patient-centred care for people with musculoskeletal pain and conditions. The successful applicant will work closely with our specialist clinicians, multidisciplinary team and researchers to provide contemporary, evidence-informed care.

You will have the opportunity to:

  • Manage a diverse caseload with a strong focus on spinal pain, post-op and musculoskeletal conditions
  • Work alongside the Macquarie university Health Spine Team, including specialist medical and allied health professionals
  • Deliver evidence-based assessment, education and exercise interventions
  • Contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives
  • Engage in teaching, mentoring and professional development opportunities within Macquarie University and Macquarie university Health

About You

You will be an experienced musculoskeletal physiotherapist who:

  • Holds current AHPRA registration as a Physiotherapist
  • Has significant experience managing musculoskeletal and spinal pain presentations
  • Demonstrates a strong interest in evidence-based back pain management
  • Values a biopsychosocial approach to care
  • Works effectively within multidisciplinary teams
  • Has excellent communication and patient engagement skills
  • Is committed to ongoing professional development and clinical excellence
